Would you like to support the world of mobility in Bavaria alongside your studies by helping with the topic of ‘on-demand and school transport in rural areas’?
Since 2022, Okari has been assisting the Greater Nuremberg Transport Association (VGN) with the implementation of a dispatch centre for on-demand transport. Since 2024, transport companies have been continuously connected, trained and supported in their operations, and further integrations are planned for 2026. Journeys can be viewed and booked via the VGN app, enabling passengers to use public transport seamlessly and efficiently.
Your role will involve:
- First-level support for end customer enquiries regarding applications for free travel or the VGN network pass for pupils
- Preparation and provision of all transport company data for integration into the dispatch system
- Testing of new on-demand transport services to be integrated into the dispatch system
- Testing in the event of problems with routing and ticket storage in the Asana tool
- Communication with transport companies
- Review of statistical data
You bring basic knowledge and a willingness to further develop your skills in these areas:
- Professional interest in mobility and transportation topics
- Team collaboration skills, strong communication abilities, and confident manner
- Analytical and creative thinking as well as independent working style
- Proficient use of MS Office applications
- Fluent German and good English skills
