Off to Saturn
Traffic in Germany is growing, placing strain on cities and the environment. SATURN develops solutions that digitally collect and transmit traffic management strategies and integrate them into routing services. This reduces traffic jams and makes mobility more environmentally friendly – as tested in Munich, Stuttgart, and Frankfurt. Okari develops the digital transmission and supports implementation in the pilot regions.

Comes just at the right time.
In rural areas, public transport is becoming increasingly difficult to maintain—therefore, a digital dispatch center for taxis on demand is being developed at the Greater Nuremberg Transport Association (VGN). Okari is responsible for project development and the integration of various transport companies.

Traffic without excess
The city of Stuttgart is blessed with a mild climate and plenty of sunshine thanks to its basin location. However, dense development and low wind speeds result in above-average air pollution. The DVFO project therefore aims to develop strategies and a technical system for environmentally sensitive traffic management. Okari is developing the online tool and the traffic correlation model and is responsible for project management.

Innovation hackers on the offensive
In Baden-Württemberg, the Mobi-Data BW Hackathon brings together developers, creative minds, data providers, and mobility experts to develop innovative solutions for the transportation transition. Okari contributes project management, organization, acquisition, and content support — and makes the event a success even during the pandemic.

Fulfilling park dreams
In the P+R 4.0 pilot project, drivers in Munich and Nuremberg are receiving real-time information and forecasts on the occupancy of park-and-ride facilities for the first time—with the aim of reducing traffic searching for parking spaces and making the switch to public transport more attractive. Okari is assisting with funding applications, coordination, and planning, and is supporting the implementation of modern parking guidance systems.
