Projects
We are a source of inspiration. And a highly effective partner.
We prepare tenders, help secure funding, open up interfaces and remain involved in the project even when the budget has been exhausted but the project is still ongoing.

Double is better
Munich's transport system has been given a digital twin. “DatSim 2.0 Digital Mobility Twin Munich” digitally maps Munich's mobility in order to test the effectiveness of measures. The simulation allows traffic and emissions data to be analyzed and emergency response routes to be optimized. Okari develops situational steering and control strategies.
View projectOff to Saturn
Traffic in Germany is growing, placing strain on cities and the environment. SATURN develops solutions that digitally collect and transmit traffic management strategies and integrate them into routing services. This reduces traffic jams and makes mobility more environmentally friendly – as tested in Munich, Stuttgart, and Frankfurt. Okari develops the digital transmission and supports implementation in the pilot regions.
View projectInnovation hackers on the offensive
In Baden-Württemberg, the Mobi-Data BW Hackathon brings together developers, creative minds, data providers, and mobility experts to develop innovative solutions for the transportation transition. Okari contributes project management, organization, acquisition, and content support — and makes the event a success even during the pandemic.

Shared traffic load is half traffic load
A cross-jurisdictional traffic management system is being established in the Frankfurt Rhine-Main region to connect cities and municipalities, provide commuters with better information, and manage traffic more efficiently. Okari is supporting the project on behalf of ivm GmbH by developing the concept, managing the project, and planning and implementing dynamic traffic management strategies to promote climate protection and improve quality of life.

From Apprentice to Master: Mobility in Middle Franconia
The digitization of commuter rail services within the Verkehrsverbund Großraum Nürnberg (VGN) is revolutionizing administrative processes, ticket ordering, and data and process management. Okari has supported the success of VGNsmaxi from the very beginning: by conducting a feasibility study, developing a detailed technical concept, assisting with the tendering and awarding process, providing project management during implementation, and continuing to support system administration during operation.
