A comprehensive feasibility study is being conducted to determine whether it is worthwhile to integrate the Donau-Ries and Dillingen (Altlandkreis) counties into the Augsburger Verkehrs- und Tarifverbund (AVV). Okari is coordinating the project and ensuring a sound basis for decision-making.
Challenge
Assessing a network expansion requires not only the analysis of complex transportation and economic factors, but also the involvement of numerous stakeholders and partners. Coordinating all parties involved, ensuring data quality and project documentation, and managing a wide range of requirements are challenging tasks. The goal is to design all processes in a transparent manner and to optimally balance the interests of the Free State, the network, passengers, and transit companies — all while working under tight deadlines and with a focus on sustainable mobility solutions.
Solution
ogether with our project partners, we are conducting a feasibility study on expanding the Augsburger Verkehrs- und Tarifverbunds (AVV) to include the districts of Dillingen (Altlandkreis) and Donauries.
Okari GmbH is supporting the project by providing:
- Technical consulting on the transportation and economic feasibility
- Project management and oversight
- Serving as the central point of contact for all project participants
Added value
Together with our project partners, we developed a solid foundation for decision-making regarding the future of public transportation in the Free State of Bavaria. The project promotes transparency, fosters collaboration, and paves the way for efficient, cross-border mobility services in rural areas. In this way, we are working together to strengthen public transportation, make it more attractive, and set new standards for modern mobility in Bavaria.
